ARTS ARBITRATION AND MEDIATION SERVICES (AAMS) a program of California Lawyers for the Arts, offers a forum for resolving and settling disputes that is available to all members of the arts community, including individuals, organizations, and businesses. Please describe your interest in serving as a volunteer for our program.

We offer a variety of alternative dispute resolution services:
CONCILIATION- to assist disputing parties with their negotiations
MEDIATION- to facilitate discussion and assist disputants to reach their own resolution
MEDIATION-ARBITRATION- (MED-ARB)- to attempt mediation, but failing that, to render a decision on unresolved issues
ARBITRATION-to hear both sides and issue a binding award
MEETING FACILITATION-to facilitate group problem-solving or planning meetings
EARLY NEUTRAL EVALUATION-to give opinions as to merits of cases or validity of claims
