July 16: The Art of Conflict Resolution: How Conflict Resolution can be used to further creativity and growth
Conflict is unavoidable and though unpleasant is often desirable when change is needed. How we respond to and manage conflict, both internal (as when we face a moral dilemma) and external (as when we find ourselves in a dispute with another), will often determine how well we function in our personal, professional and creative lives. Mediators and attorneys will discuss the art of conflict resolution and teach communication, negotiation and conflict resolution as well as dispute prevention techniques to use in your own life and work.
With Victoria Goldfarb and Karala Jenkins-Turner

July 30: How to Read, Draft, and Negotiate Your Contract

Topics include liability issues, negotiation strategies, key terms and phrases, and strategies to protect yourself and your art.
