Fundamentals of Intellectual Property Licensing

With Keith L. Cooper, Esq.

Intellectual property licenses are essential components of creative businesses in a variety of industries, including film, music and visual arts. Join CLA and attorney Keith L. Cooper to learn about the basics of licensing intellectual property. What does it mean to license intellectual property? When is a license necessary? What are the key components of a licensing agreement? What are the different issues that are important for licensors versus those that are important for licensees? This program will touch on intellectual property licenses in a variety of contexts, including merchandising, music and film.
