Arts Advocacy

CLA engages in advocacy on behalf of the creative arts and innovation community at the local, state and federal level.

Arts Arbitration & Mediation Services

CLA's Arts Arbitration and Mediation Services [AAMS] has provided alternative dispute resolution to the creative arts community since 1980.

California Inventors Assistance Program

The California Inventors Assistance Program is the regional program in California under Section 32 of the America Invents Act. This program is Administered by CLA and it was created to assist independent inventors and small start-ups with their patent legal issues.

International Arts Travel Program

Learn more about CLA's international arts travel program with past trips to Cuba, France, and other destinations to come.

Lawyer Referral & Information Service

CLA's Lawyer Referral and Information Service [LRIS] is a State Bar of California Certified LRIS matching creative artists with attorneys throughout all of California.

Sacramento Mediation Center

The Sacramento Mediation Center [SMC] provides confidential and neutral conflict resolution assistance to individuals, families, businesses, organizations, neighborhoods, and government agencies.

Sacramento CARES Mediation Program

Sacramento CARES Mediation Program: FREE City of Sacramento COVID-19-related Commercial & Residential Landlord & Tenant Mediation Services. Funded by City of Sacramento COVID Relief Funding.

Spotlight on the Arts

Since 1993, CLA's Arts & Community Development Project has proudly sponsored Spotlight on the Arts, a comprehensive multi-disciplinary arts workforce development program for low-income high school students ages 14 to 17.

Youth Mediators in Schools

Youth Mediators in Schools (YMS) teaches middle school students a peaceful and productive approach to resolving conflict with others as students develop strong communication, leadership and decision making skills which promote an improved school climate.

Designing Creative Futures

An arts-focused internship program for formerly incarcerated individuals
