Dispute Resolution Techniques for People in Arts and Entertainment

With Sacramento CLA Arts Arbitration and Mediation Services Staff

As an artist, writer, producer, gallery owner, musician or any other creative artist, you know that sometimes conflicts can occur in collaborations, work-for-hire agreements, contract jobs and other situations.  Learning how to resolve these conflicts peacefully before they escalate can save you time, money and energy!

This program, presented by trained mediators, will focus on successful communication strategies, including listening skills; helpful vs. non helpful language; strategies for gaining mutual agreements and more. We will also discuss options for dispute resolution should you find yourself unable to resolve the conflict without additional help.
