Music and Music Memorabilia-Valuable Overlooked Assets in Plain Sight with Stephen M.H. Braitman, ASA

An MCLE presentation for lawyers and other interested parties in the appraisal of music and music memorabilia.

As values rise for collectible music and music memorabilia from records and posters to artist-owned artifacts – valuable items may escape notice because they are not typical assets. This presentation aims to help you identify significant assets that could be overlooked by estate executors, property settlement judges, and divorce lawyers. In this presentation, you will learn to quickly assess a collection’s potential, and become familiar with some of the highest value items in music collecting today. Attorneys practicing in the areas of trusts and estates, and divorce will find this especially useful!

Stephen M.H. Braitman, ASA is an accredited senior appraiser through the American Society of Appraisers (ASA) with a specialty in Music Memorabilia.

He has years of experience in the music industry and the record-collecting field. His widely acknowledged expertise in the marketplace makes his appraisal service an important component of estate planning, court and arbitration expert testimony, insurance coverage and claims.
