Artist Immigrant and Non-Immigrant Visas
with Pamela Forster, Esq.

This workshop will cover what artists who are non-U.S. citizens and non-legal permanent residents need to know about how to apply for and obtain U.S. work authorization. This workshop is for above- and below-the-line entertainment industry professionals, musicians, visual artists, and performing artists.  We will cover the eligibility requirements, procedural aspects, and nuances of the applications for the O and P non-immigrant (temporary) classifications, and the EB-1 extraordinary ability and EB-2 exceptional ability immigrant (permanent) classifications. We will conclude with a Q & A session.

Pamela Forster, Esq. has 14 years of experience in immigration law with an emphasis on visas for artists and related professionals in the arts and entertainment industries. Ms. Forster formed her own law firm, Valente Law, in 2003, in downtown Beverly Hills, California, as a boutique firm uniquely positioned to handle a wide range of entertainment and immigration transactional matters for U.S. and foreign talent and business individuals and companies in the motion picture, television, live performance/recording, visual arts, and publishing industries.
