  • CLA is sensitive to the current situation faced by the non-profit and arts sector within COVID-19. We are currently offering our workshops at a sliding scale or "pay what you can" price. While CLA is a nonprofit we are also in need of your continued support but want to ensure accessibility of our content and workshops to all no one will be turned away for lack of funds. About the Speaker:

Stu Arbury, Director of TV and Episodic Content, Ramo Law PC

Stuart Arbury joined Ramo Law in 2017 as a television executive, where he collaborates with clients to review, develop, package, and take out series projects, both scripted and unscripted. Arbury draws on his diverse professional background in order to marry the creative and business needs of a potential series and actively help clients navigate an ever changing episodic landscape.


Sean Pope, Senior Associate, Ramo Law PC

Sean Pope works with producers and production companies focusing on all aspects of production legal services from development to distribution, with a particular focus towards documentaries and docu-series.

He serves as production counsel for Emmy award-winning companies Boardwalk Pictures (“Chef’s Table,” "Cheer") and Scout Productions (“Queer Eye”), as well as Caliwood Pictures ("A Nice Girl Like You") and The Solution Entertainment Group ("Killerman" "Line of Duty," "Honest Thief"). Other recent highlights include 2021 Tribeca Film Festival titles "Accepted," "Claydrem," and "No Man of God," and A.V. Rockwell’s directorial debut “A Thousand and One.”

Sean enjoys being a part of teams that help elevate unconventional stories, and he delights in sharing his experience with young producers, writers and lawyers when he has the opportunity.
