"USPTO California Inventors Assistance Program"
Tuesday, October 23, 2012
6:00 to 8:00 PM. Light supper provided. 1-hr. MCLE

The new America Invents Act mandated that the USPTO encourage pro bono efforts to help small inventors obtain patent protection. As we launch the California Inventor's Assistance Program, we will take a bit of time to explain the nature of the program, the underlying AIA mandate for it, and the goals we hope it will achieve for inventors of modest means. One hour of FREE MCLE credit will be available for this presentation.

Speakers:
  • Alma Robinson, Executive Director, California Lawyers for the Arts
  • M.J. Bogatin, Co-President of the Board of California Lawyers for the Arts From Bogatin, Corman & Gold
  • Stuart Meyer, Partner, Fenwick & West
  • Erik Metzger, Architecture Patent Portfolio Manager, Intel Corporation
  • John Calvert, Senior Advisor, Office of Innovation Development USPTO
Location: Fenwick & West, Silicon Valley Center. 801 California Street. Mountain View, CA 94041
