Visual Art Licensing Basics
With Sriba Kwadjovie, J.D.

Join Sriba Kwadjovie for a workshop in learning best practices when seeking licenses with artists or artist estates to reproduce artwork images. We will discuss the nuances of licensing for print and digital reproductions for various informational and commercial uses. We will walk through the details you may want to include in a request for permission and tips on obtaining high-resolution quality images for reproduction.

The workshop will also touch on basic elements of intellectual property rights in visual arts including copyright, fair use, publicity rights and public domain. Sample requests will be provided. This event is open to everyone in the visual/performing arts and entertainment.
